Tonight you get a meme, because my daughter was sent home from school with a temp of 104 and I am kind of focusing on that right now. Poor pumpkin. She’s never sick but boy when she decides to get sick she does it up right. I tried to give her some pedialyte before bed but she flung the bottle clear across the living room and screamed NO in pure Charlotte fashion so I guess she’s not all that sick. I’m anticipating a long night ahead of me and Grey’s is a repeat, so I just might get some sleep while the getting is good. Anyway! I’m sure she’ll be fine tomorrow, so here’s your meme.
1. What time did you get up this morning? 6:00am.
2. Diamonds or Pearls? I wear both daily, actually. My wedding rings are diamond and my everyday earrings are pearl studs.
3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? My sister dragged me to Catch and Release a few weeks ago. It was stupid. God, I hate movies.
4. What is your favourite TV show? Grey’s. Followed closely by General Hospital, The Office and American Idol.
5. What did you eat for breakfast? Coffee and a parliament light. That is AWFUL.
6. What foods do you dislike? I really hate peas.
7. Your favourite potato chip? Salt and vinegar. Mmm, chips. I can’t remember the last time I had a chip.
8. What is your favourite CD at the moment? The only CD I ever listen to really is for Charlotte, in the car. It’s called The Classical Child. I wouldn’t necessarily call it a favourite. In fact I would call it my least favourite now that I think about it.
9. What kind of car do you drive? BMW.
10. Favourite sandwich? Fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomato. I also LOVE the Good Egg sandwich at the Oxford St. Spa, which is a block away from our old place in Cambridge. I miss those.
11. What characteristics do you despise? Hmm. Mostly people who can’t get their heads out of their own asses. Is that a characteristic? I think it is.
12. What are your favourite clothes? Ones that fit.
13. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation, where would you go? Spain. Or back to Greece.
14. What colour is your bathroom? Mostly white with blue accents, and a madras plaid shower curtain.
15. Favourite brand of clothing? I really don’t have a favourite, but I pretty much wear the same four brands. Makes shopping easier, right? For work it’s pretty much Banana and Ann Taylor. I am also really liking Lands’ End lately.
16. Favourite time of day? Bedtime.
17. Where would you want to retire to? A house on the ocean.
18. Favourite sport to watch? Football.
19. Coke or Pepsi? Diet coke.
20. Are you a morning person or night owl? I guess I’d say morning.
21. Any new and exciting news you’d like to share? No. Well, I’ve finally got Charlotte’s birthday party pretty much planned and under control. I guess that’s new but not all that exciting.
22. What did you want to be when you were little? A teacher.
23. What is your best childhood memory? There are so many, but the best? Probably all of our summers at our beach house. Those were some really good times.

26. Eye Colour? Green.
27. Favourite day of the week? Friday.
28. Favourite restaurant? Mistral. I also love the Oak Room.
29. Favourite ice cream? Favourite flavor? Frozen yogurt, can’t do the ice cream - but my favourite flavor is coffee.
30. Which store would you choose to max out your credit card? Right at this very moment I’d choose any store in which I could buy a new living room sofa. Otherwise I’d have to go with my old standby of Sephora.
31. Bedtime? 10pm.
32. What are you listening to right now? Regina Spektor and the dishwasher running.
33. How many tattoos do you have? Zero.
34. Next film you’ll see? No idea. But if I had a nickel for every time I’ve watched The Fantasia Barrino Story on Lifetime, I’d be a rich woman.
