Last night, I headed home from work the long way, to pick up a video in Arlington. I had noticed a few movies being released yesterday that piqued my interest, so I stopped off and rented both Garden State and Anchorman. My husband opted for the funny movie, so we watched Anchorman. I don’t know if my sense of humor is changing, but honestly, it sucked. It had maybe 3 or 4 lines that made us laugh, but otherwise I just found it lame. I’m hoping for better things with Garden State, which I hope to watch tomorrow or Friday. I love rental places with long rental periods - I don’t have to return these until Sunday night!

I made homemade pizza for dinner last night. At Whole Foods, you can buy pizza dough, sometimes they have wheat/gluten free (like once in a blue moon), but they always have regular, so I opted for that. For Christmas, my mom bought us a bunch of gourmet-type cooking oils, sauces, and spices from Williams Sonoma, so I used one of the pizza sauces and some of the organic oregano, along with mushrooms, fresh garlic, and a bit of cheese. I have to say it came out so good, we ended up eating the whole thing! I kept telling myself that our pizza stone is small so it wasn’t that bad, but really. It was a whole pizza. I drank a lot of water in an attempt to compensate, but again - it was a lot of pizza!

It’s already 11am, work is picking back up, even though it is quiet around here, I am here, and my boss is here, so there definitely is work. I don’t mind it too much, though - I’m just digging in, listening to iTunes, and enjoying an uninterrupted period of productivity, interspersed with some blogging (reading and writing) as well.

I’m hoping to make yoga tonight. I brought all of my gear, but of course I have to forget at least one thing - at least this time its nothing that will prohibit me from actually going and taking class. I ended up forgetting a t-shirt or a sweatshirt to put over my top when class is over. I’m going to have to make sure I button my coat all the way up and tie my scarf pretty tight, or else its going to be a rather chilly ride home!
